Small mistakes, long queues
One digit copied wrong and weeks later you're standing at a real counter. Loket catches it before it gets that far.

An IBAN with a typo costs a returned payment and a few days. The check digits catch it right away.

A structured communication that doesn't add up is refused by the bank. Your customer calls, you search, the payment waits.
